Chad Edwards & Bruce Johnson provided excellent - no pressure - service. Both gentlemen were professional & excellent to work with. We bought two vehicles - and got great deals on both !! They both assured us that the service is second to none !! They made car buying a pleasant experience for my wife & I !!
While I found the service department staff to be great (as they always are), I am not happy with GM about my problem. My 2015 Silverado 1500 with 62,000 miles had the A/C compressor lock up and shear the belt. Luckily it happened on a weekend when it was only 94 degrees in the shade. Driving for 4 hours with no A/C in 94 degree temperatures is not in the least pleasant. I am not pleased to find that GM knows about issues with these vehicles and the A/C units and does not do a recall to address this issue.
Due to some unforeseen work developments, I was late for my service appointment, so I was expecting to wait for a longer period of time. However, my tardiness didn’t seem to affect the timing of the service. I’ve been bringing my vehicle to Schimmer since I moved here nearly 7 years ago. I’ve been very happy with their service.
