Universal Vehicle Module
While the Work Truck trim may lack some of the finer touches of the higher trims, it has the Universal Vehicle Module as an option. The UVM allows owners to configure their trucks to work best for them. End users can configure auto-start, shutdown inhibits, fast idle, and snow plow functions. These functions allow users to maintain power to run safety lights or other accessories under vehicle operations that normally make that difficult. Snow plow mode disables some safety features that are incompatible with a plow.
